Mmmm, from what I can see there is something for everyone.  Stock, modified and outlaws.  That's funny haven't seen any cars yet.:shades:

Steve

Kind if disappointing the way the day panned out ,it was belting down with rain yet team bosses left the main contenders out on slicks ,it was ALWAYS going to end badly
was interesting however wandering around the garage area after most people had left ,most panels on a v8 supercar are either fibreglass  or carbon fibre including the rear 1/4,s
Stone brothers have a massive amount of work to do tonight to get the cars back on track ,Ross Stone was working on the cars along with the crew ,

anyway if you havent seen the end result of slicks on a track that is soaked

Had a great day there yesterday, except for me getting sunburnt. We saw Tony Hawk at the Monster Skate Park which is what my son (14) wanted to see. Homebush is the worst track I've ever been to though to watch the cars, there seems to be no decent place to watch them from? All you can get is a glimpse here and there. Eastern Creek is much much better for spectators IMO.

Hi Jim, I have heard that comment from a few people now.
I think the only decent place to watch the racing is from your own recliner at home, while having a few drinks :drink:

Well the weekend is over at Homebush I would like to thank the following members for putting their cars on display Dave & Ellen, Alistair, Andy, Peter & Robyn, Chris, Craig, Steve, Mick & Yvette, Steff,Geoff, Ryan, Keith & Tracy, Jim, Sal,& Greg Smith who let me drive his Caddy on the parade lap when he was at work. I think our cars looked fantastic also a huge thanks to Richard for taking all the photos of the cars & I think every girl that was at the track that had a sponsors shirt on & for all the photos that he took of our two promo girls. It was good to catch up with some other car club members that you don't see all the time. My thoughts on the event, yes it is hard to see a lot of the track as apposed  to what you got at Oran Park or what you get at Eastern Creek, but the atmosphere with the venue for families is fantastic wide streets heaps of seating lots of shaded areas & plenty of car parks & I thought for that many people it was really clean over the 3 days & a lot more food variety & better quality than Eastern Creek just my thoughts.
