V8 Super cars is a business not a sport. When one make is winning too often then they change the rules or swap the drivers. This is a quick fix to keep the mug punters interested in what is basically a dying series. When you only have two brands racing against each other, you can't have one brand continually winning. This year it was Holden's turn. Who knows, next year it may be Ford depending upon who's calling the shots at head office. Anyway, one things for sure, we'll never see a Pontiac or a Chrysler win it.  Eddie

Conspiracy theory!! - Cue the Twilight Zone music!

No conspiracy theory, just facts. The people running V8 Supercars are business people who are in it for the money. None of them, to my knowledge, have ever driven a car in anger on the race track. Like all sport nowadays, it's been corrupted by money. Time was at Bathurst, you could virtually turn up as a "Mum and Dad" outfit and race. There was even a chance you might win something. Now, millions of dollars are spent by teams on a two make series which has, like Nascar, become a joke. The cars are so similiar, they could have been built in the same workshop. All in the name of "entertainment". Just my 2 cents. Eddie
