Hello everyone Jill Courtney just  phoned me Michaels funeral will be held on Saturday the 25th March. Jill has asked me to speak to the funeral director regarding the parade of cars where the meeting place will be as Michael was one of the very early members it would be great to have a lot of cars on the parade with the Dragons hot rod club & NRMA vehicles.
I will post all the details when i get them tomorrow.

I've been passed these details -

Saturday 25th at Menangle Raceway for 10.30 service at large markee, then 12.30 at Forest Lawn Cemetery Leppington (can go there or stay at Menangle) then 1.30 back at Menangle for food and drinks. Was told no flowers, just a card if anything, bring your hot rod/musclecar.

The family of Michael Courtney would like to invite all that knew and loved him, to a celebration of his life on Saturday the 25th March, 2017. The service is to be held at the Menangle Park Paceway, at 10:30am. Following the service, we will proceed to Forest Lawn Memorial Park Leppington, to say our last goodbyes (those who choose to are welcome to remain at the paceway until our return). We will then return to Menangle Park Paceway at around 1:30- 2pm for a celebration what will include light refreshments, where we can laugh, cry and remember the man that was Michael Courtney.

I have just spoken to Jill & Jay from the NRMA all cars can meet at the Corner of Ulmarra Ave & Old Hume Highway Camden South between 9.30 & 9.45 am.
Then Jay from the NRMA will tell you the details of the parade.
Would be great to see as many cars from the AMCCA as possible.
