Hi Guys need some tips or someone who is a good Mechanic.

Car running rough and rich as anything. Took Car into the workshop he had a look plugs black as the tyers. Changed them, and then took the carburettor off first time in 40 years secondary jammed open. So carburettor been overhauled and put back on but not getting any compression from one of the plugs.

Think the guy said it was a stuck valve push rods not bent but with out taking the head off they don't know  but they are not sure all the rest are OK just that one.   Any ideas tip or referrals.  Any one in the club a Mechanic
