Thats cos Girls buy Mustnags and there are 51% of them in the world now.......

we can always post pics of the 74-78 Mustang if you like?

It would be harder still to post pics of the 2011 Pontiac or a Chrysler that didn't have a chassis inherited from another car manufacturer.
A brief racing history of Ford;
Le Mans 3 or was it 4 times
Basis of a Formula ! engine - winning innumerable times
Trans Am 1970
Rally wins - too many to mention
I'd rather see people driving Fords, GM, Chrysler, VW, Mercedes etc than a Toyota.

All that history and they still couldn't manage a podium finish at Bathurst.

In the world of racing, Bathurst is very small beer despite what most Australians may think. It's dying a slow death from parochialism. I believe there are plans afoot to run it as it used to be run, as a race for production cars. Now wouldn't that be interesting. It would certainly attract more viewers in my modest opinion. I can't wait to see a Chrysler SRT running out of brakes at the end of Conrod Straight.  Eddie

Damn, Mustnag guys are easy bites:gotya:

And all the while, the Corvette owners are smiling and getting on with business :shades:

Like Pana said the other day,Imagine the attendance with 9 hours of muscle cars as opposed to the same cars running around,the only difference being the engine and the badge.

Wonder if anyone in V8 supercar land put 2 and 2 together like many have posted on facebook and V8 site that the HSV ad ran during the telcast just showed how removed the HRT Race car and the HSV road car are...

Bring back the old racing...And proper tracks not streets..:thanks:
Growing old is inevitable,Growing up is optional.!!!!!  66 Mustang Coupe.

So it should have been really easy for a Ford to win the race.
